They have done a couple of pop-ups at Tin Roof Brewery. I found his product to be very good!

Both are 20 minutes from downtown NOLA

Valentina’s Austin

I ate this actually last Christmas while visiting my in laws and it’s up there with any bbq I’ve had. I guess I won’t be back in Austin until probably Spring but I will stop back here.

Anyone else try this?

Just seeing this. Yes preorder and yes it’s great. Beef cheeks and Dino ribs are showstoppers

Valentina’s is very good, I like it better than Franklin for Austin bbq.

My favorite Texas bbq is Louis Mueller’s in Taylor.

I watched that video a good while back. His food looks amazing...especially the brisket. Would love to eat there one day.

Brisket, pork cheeks, brisket boudin, burnt ends, beef cheeks. It all traveled pretty well back to New Orleans from Luling

If I were ranking the bites, I’d go burnt ends, pork cheeks, beef cheeks, boudin, brisket

Only disappointment was the “homemade” pickles. I bought a jar and all it was was jarred pickles from the grocery store in a different vinegar mix. Just tasted like sandwich pickles.

Enjoyed the brisket and beef cheeks. I like the brisket boudin but with all of it I’ve had enough smoke. I like steamed boudin more so anyway but it was all good. I’ll go back. Gouda grits were nice. No line at 1:00 but a few behind me when I left.

Think he’ll do fine and really not a bad location even from Baton Rouge.

I’m not really sure. It looks similar to the smaller sauces they gave me with the meats. It has good flavor but their meats are good as is.
