How about the other cans besides Envie? Canebrake or South Coast?

I was thinking of trying to get some shipped up here for the springtime. Here's to hoping Parish works out the kinks real soon.

Why does Parish always have trouble with over carbonation? Nova Vert was way over carbed, among other reasons it sucked.

Nova is turding everywhere right now. Sounds like the Envie cans will be snuggled up right next to it.

1/15 date on cans, $9.99 a 4 pack at Calandros.

Y'all can have mine. Peace out...there are plenty of other good beers to enjoy.

All I can say is: What a shame.

Disappointing the cans shite the bed. I’d bet the Canebrake and South Coast still sell fine, only the Envie takes a hit. Hopefully it’s enough that they make sure to fix it for next batching

I still get mad when I think of the yeast change. They made an announcement a month or two out for 12/16 new yeast envie. I headed to my rouses the next week excited to try the new envie and they had just gotten 16 cases of envie dated 12/14 using the old yeast. It sat there for almost a year while rouses mixed new shipments in with old.

A good 3-4 cases had to of gone unsold, the rest sold to unknowing customers. I doubt Parish would’ve eaten the money if they knew this most recent was a shite batch, which they most likely did. My worry is, did he have a contract with this place in Florida and if so, how long does that run?

One would assume so? From the perspective of those guys in FL, and the (extremely) limited knowledge I have of the services they offer, I'd want to have some kind of guarantee. You've got a facility that needs to be in use or else you're steady losing money. And after the shitshow that was Toppling Goliath cans, you've got to be jumping for joy at another brewery being naive enough to take advantage of your services. So lock those suckers in for a guaranteed time period and quantity of production per year and watch the dollars pile up.

I am probably in the minority but being in NOLA I have gotten Urban South Holy Roller over Envie the last +year.

So Parish can continue to frick this Fla shite up and work on figuring it out as long as it does not include Ghost and Vert.

Does "new batch" Nova mean mid-November? If so there's tons of it at Breaux Mart and Rouse's Uptown.

No. There was a batch released in December. The bottles are dated 12/20 I think.

The bottles I've seen on the shelves in BR are dated November. I saw some dated December last weekend in Lafayette.

I’m in BR but I’ve been drinking HR like I’m going to the electric chair. Haven’t bought an Envie in awhile.
