Guess I need to haul all my beer boxes to Parish and trade for whatever prize I can get at this point.... as a collector’s items to beer I used to drink.

This whole scenario rubs me the wrong way. And its not the 1st w these guys. They were my favorite brewery in LA, but its fading fast.

Props to GB for getting Jucifer back in cans... access to that (I hope regularly) and Holy Roller will do just fine.

pisses me off that they don't even distribute any of their interesting releases any longer. You have to live in the middle of nowhere to get them. I don't order any of their stuff at bars on principle at this point.

Meh, you’d get people bitching if they distributed, too. Look at Ghost from a year or two ago. “I drove to three stores and they all got two cases each and they were already shitlorded or saved for the shop keepers friends!”

I’m thinking this contract brewing bs was so they could focus more on their interesting releases and get more of them (qty) to distribution. Might not work that way, but hopefully it will. I’m sceptical of this approach and so far this experiment does not look good.

I’m in BR but I’ve been drinking HR like I’m going to the electric chair. Haven’t bought an Envie in awhile.

Same. I can't remember the last time I bought Envie since the HR recipe change.

The contract brewing is about $$$ and nothing else. Believe me, Parish isnt doig this for the greater good of beer nerds

There’s no doubt about that. It allows them to put out more beer and expand into more geographic markets without investing in a larger facility.

I know hops are expensive but I’d assume that their profit margin is higher on the higher priced hoppy beers that they sell directly from the brewery?

Hope it does. If the product is bad, make it right. Dont push the bad stuff to market and expect business as usual. Unbelievable.
