Used to be a real “Lost Cajun”, but it’s corporate now. The original guy’s wife died.
Not bad if you just have to have it.

Ended up eating at lost cajun mainly bc erics and empire were both done taking seating reservations by 6 o clock when we finished axe throwing. It was right on our walk back. I got "cat-toufee" which was just fried catfish smothered in crawfish etoufee. It was actually really good. Kids got poboys and they were both good. Wasn't like parrains good but id put it on about acme oyster house level.

Wish I could ski some more. We did 4 days and yesterday was the last. Didn't make my way over to peak 7 but for sure will next time. Sucks bc I was finally starting to get better and comfortable on blues by the last day.

Breck is a great place to start out....so much terrain. You’ll get there
Peak 6 and Peak 7 is the best skiing on the mountain in my opinion. I’ve been to Breck 5 out of the last 8 years skiing. It’s my favorite followed by Steamboat Springs and Park City
Hope y’all made it to Eric’s, it’s the one place along with Hearthstone I recommend to everyone, but Hearthstone is more of a nice dinner without kids

The one in Rosenberg was bad. Frozen stuff fried up and boiled in bag sauces.

You asked for people’s opinion on a Louisiana based board about a restaurant that does a poor imitation of Cajun food. So yeah....

The originator of the chain is from. Louisiana , but you can damn sure bet his cooks aren’t.

The dude who owns a Cajun place in Needville, TX (Bayou Boys) doesn’t have Cajuns cooking in his kitchen, but it is legit Cajun gumbos and etouffees that comes out of there. He even has them boiling crawfish properly (all soaking).

My two tries at “Lost Cajun” were more than enough to know that place is a joke.

I never understood this. People find out I'm from Louisiana and ask "Have you eaten at Pappadeaux's, Random Cajun Cafe, etc?" when you want home food.

Nah. I open my refrigerator.
