It’ll be just my wife and I for thanksgiving this year and we’re considering going this route vs just going to Cracker Barrel. Are they any good?

The only one I've ever tried was the worst turkey I've ever tasted.

They were good when they used to fry them.

I hope you are a female, otherwise you are missing out on life. Best part of thanksgiving is cooking for your family. Grab a beer or coffee and fire up the smoker/fryer early morning and enjoy life. Take a nap while the women clean up

If it's just 2 or 3 people, Bake a Big Fat Chicken and then go to Rouse's and buy some sides by the pound, dirty rice, cornbread dressing, green beans, etc. - also a loaf of fresh white sandwich bread/blue plate mayo for sandwiches Thanksgiving night along with any leftover sides - jmho - I think leftovers Thanksgiving night are the best.
