Anybody else tiring of hazy IPAs?

I drink a lot of them, and a really great beer, of any style is hard to beat. However, I have been pining for a really great traditional west coast IPA. Crisp and hoppy, without being overly bitter.
I wish there were more of these being brewed.

Same. I’m back to liking hazy beers but I stepped away for 6 months or so to reset. Maybe try that. Lagers, WCIPA, stouts, and sours.

Same here. I'm drinking the hazy because it is readilly available and fresh. But I too am "pining" for more of the WC style.

I go through phases. I enjoy both. I like the taste of the Hazy but they are so heavy.

Hazy so much more likely to cause headache next day even after 2-3
West coast IPAs not as bad on that end

Honestly, and I’m not a beer drinker for the most part, but I’m tiring of the IPA thing in general. It’s now time to move on.

I think a lot of IPAs are overly bitter to the point where you can't taste the underlying Citrus or pine notes. The trend of jacking up the IBUs has been happening for years, and it is hard to find a well balanced IPA.
When I was living in Portland, I found that Breakside Brewing in Portland, Boneyard in Bend, and fPriem in Hood River made spectacular WC IPAs.
My favorite was Sticky Hands, by Block 15. I have drank Sticky Hands with a few on this board, so they can attest to the deliciousness of that beer.

They’re both IPAs but completely different flavor of hops. I can only drink a couple IPAs before i need something less bitter but the only people I see hating IPAs are light beer drinkers and beer drinkers who only drink anything written in German.

Not that any of these slapdick brewers can brew a decent one these days.
