Anybody else agree that watermelon is funky tasting?

I can handle honey dew, and even like cantaloupe.... but watermelon makes me wretch.

I agree with you Rex. Even as a kid I never understood the fuss about watermelon. It has never done a damn thing for me.

We had lots of watermelon when I was a kid because my father knew I hated it.

I don't like cucumbers, either. They're like small watermelons.

No...but I do have a difficult time picking out a good cantaloupe. Honey dew's are hard to screw up.

Ditto on both accounts. They are both pretty nasty and taste like bad perfume.
