Anyone been to Andy's Bistro? Inlaws want to take my wife and I out for our anniversary. Good, bad, suggestions?

Menu looks pretty good. At least the pictures do.

I've been once before... It's pretty good. I would definitely go again.

This board doesn't really like it, but the food is very good.

I always get their onion rings every time as an appetizer. They always arrive freshly cooked, crispy and seasoned perfectly. The gumbo is very good also. Never had a bad meal there. The only problem with the place is the poor acoustics due to the tile floor in the restaurant. It's very noisy with a lot of people dining.

I ate there a couple of years ago. I had their sliders and onion rings and they were damned good.

The crowd was a little strange, but that is par for the course in Metry. Food and service was good.

Isn't this a Andrea Appuzzio restaurant.

I know he opened it but I’m not sure he does much with the actual restaurant. The Three B’s guys run the place.

As far as the restaurant goes, it’s solid for the Metairie.

Great filet. Cheaper than Chris’s just as good.

I second this. Outstanding filet and very affordable. This is one of my favorite Metairie spots.

You'll be hard pressed to find a better steak outside of the elite NO options. We went a year ago and were surprised how much we liked it. I disagree with the above poster; I put it in the great category.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like we'll be eating at Andy's Friday night.

The wood fired cauliflower with cheese sauce app and double cut pork chop are fantastic.
