how do you convert the quantities when using pasta? Same amount of liquid? How much pasta vs rice?

I usually use meat combinations in pastalaya that I never use in jambalaya...which is almost always crawfish and Tasso. However now that I'm thinking... I wonder how a crawfish and Tasso jambalaya would come out. Just thinking out loud...
