Searched, couldn't find anything.
Just curious what you guys think about the catfish poboys at the box during lent? Any new items they added to the menu?

Dude it's a baseball game. Eat a fricking hot dog.

LSU is a state-run institution. The fact that they have a "lent menu" has me triggered as frick.

LSU is a state run institution in a predominantly catholic area of the state. Why are you upset?

French fries and a pretzel or popcorn

yeah, well this state is catholic

Hope they have those breaded fish sandwiches with the cheese already in them like in school.

I know they've always had filet-o-fish type sandwiches. I want to say that one if the Cajun food stands might have shrimp jambalaya or an alligator sausage poboy (though gator sausage probably has pork).

I had a fish sandwich there before.

The catfish basket at the old box was solid

Its only a temporary observance and nothing permanent, but yes we're kinda catholic.

Eat some nachos and French fries.

I imagine so.
Can you send me a link to the text of the law or statute that even remotely suggests that this shouldn't be done?

So were the cocktails we were allowed to bring in.

Eat peanuts and sunflower seeds

Why an old box sometimes has a stench, I think referring to is as a catfish basket is a little much

is one hot dog worth an eternity in hell bro? Just make the ultimate sacrifice and eat fried catfish

quote:Exactly. Jesus needs you to sacrifice. So dont be glutinous and eat a hot dog, instead, have 5 nice deep fried catfish filets with french fries, or 5 lbs of boiled crawfish. That is a true sacrifice that shows your love to the magic man in the sky.

Disclaimer: I am Catholic, so I am allowed to make fun.

Eat at home, save the money, and act like you're actually sacrificing something. Not eating meat and buying a fantastic catfish poboy instead isn't a sacrifice
Edit: I don't eat out on Fridays during lent, I cook from home, and no red meat. Do occasionally have chicken, but I'm not doing anything special with it
