I grabbed the 7 quart Gourmia from Costco (50 bucks?) and it has been surprisingly useful.
It's great for kid snacks like mozarella sticks, chicken wings, sandwiches, etc. The other day I threw a couple of chicken breasts in there and they were perfection. Was not expecting that at all!
I love that it preheats very quickly and doesn't heat up my kitchen. Great in the summer!
ETA: If I had it to do over again, I would probably not opt for the basket style. It's a little awkward.

I have the Ninja that looks kind of like a toaster oven.
That is because air fryers are just convection ovens... Most convection toaster ovens are now marketed as air fryers since the term took off a few years ago.

We've use our New Wave Brio 15 qt just about everyday for going on 3 years. It cooks frozen snacks or left over fried fish, pizza etc.. so much faster and better than an oven.

I have a Ninja Foodie thing that performs about 8 functions, including a pressure cooker. For two people, the basket is ok when air frying, but for more, you'd be happier with an oven type design. The one I have is very versatile and you can cook a whole chicken in it.

The Ninja 10 in 1 is on sale at Bed Bath and Beyond, combine it with a 20% coupon as well…comes in at 200 bucks.

We have the Breville Smart Oven Air, also $350. It does more than air fry though. Its been used multiple times per day for about 5 years now, pretty good bang for the buck.

Looking at this just trying to figure out how much use it would get

I went with this. Only one review but I'm sure it will do the job. Only 149.99 in store.

Anyone have the Emeril Lagasse version? The one they have the 30 minute infomercial?

I'm thinking of getting the Instant Vortex 6-qt with window. I had reservations about not being able to monitor the food, but the window model seems to solve that. They have another model that also has odor filters, but I don't see a big need for that.
Cooks Illustrated picked the Vortex in its air fryer review.
They also made a good video to compare pros and cons of the regular Vortex air fryer and (top pick combo) Breville toaster/fryer combo. LINK
