another place I don't think was doing particularly well pre corona but the shut down likely finished them off.

I didn't think it was bad at all but rarely saw it anywhere near capacity

Not to mention they never seemed to be a topic of conversation on this board which was weird considering how nice of a building they’re in

I think you are going to see a lot of places use the shutdown as a sword so to speak. That is, places that were struggling will try to use the shutdown as a means to parachute out of their onerous costs they were struggling to pay BEFORE the shutdown. The biggest windfall might be legal arguments to break long term lease agreements. A crazy as it sounds, some may look at it as a Godsend and the best time to cut bait and mitigate the damage of doing so.

I agree....these places were struggling before it hit and this made it an easy decision for them

The Lovely and Talented Mrs. Lammo and I dined there once. It was merely "okay".

Same ownership group, I believe. Have heard they have trouble staffing the place because the head chef is just an a-hole. I can’t imagine they are doing well and the shine has fallen off that place.

*I have never had a bad experience there, for the record.

Great location, great building. Food was pretty good. But for some reason when you walked in, it just felt like they never quite had their act together.

Took my son there after his high school graduation. We all got filets. There were over-cooked, not very flavorful, and way over-priced. I gave them feedback and they didn't care. I'm not surprised they weren't doing well.

Nice location, went one time and the menu was not very appealing to me, it did ok on weekends but I can't imagine they got much lunch or weeknight business.
Food was meh and way overpriced.
That would probably be a decent location for a Walk On's or Chimes type place.

wait, owner said they are having trouble getting staffed because of unemployement pay - I thought if your job returned = no more unemployement?

Beausoleil has a pretty loyal following with the Bocage crowd.

I love the food at Beausoleil, but I never go either. Would hate to see it go, however.

I'm a bit confused as well. My understanding was that each week when someone files, the employer can approve or deny the claim. If they deny, the employee can file an appeal.. then the unemployment office would investigate and make a decision from there. I find it hard to believe an employee would win the appeal at this point, but who knows.

We always enjoyed Adrian's, the menu definitely had some holes in it, some dishes were not very good, but we found a few that we liked a lot, enough to go back many times. The staff always seemed to be changing, so it was hard to develop a rapport with anyone. Sorry to see them close, one less choice.
