Abita constantly tries to do interesting things and falls on its face every time
Expect nothing exciting from this. It’s just a new revenue stream because they are not performing well anymore.

A new brewery opening interests me
Abita does not
That location also does not - never like how that area became the brewery place
I get it has space but it’s ugly hard to get to and barely “walkable” while also being not that close to much else unless you want to brave the homeless camp under the bridge

Roll your eyes all you want.
The statement was made that good breweries had to close because they “couldn’t keep up”
Couldn’t keep up with what?

Doesn't exist anymore fyi
Its the most logical area for all of these breweries, and I am glad they are setting up in the same spot.
Looking at the design aspects, I wonder if a place like Miel isn't particularly happy about this (or does it get more people in the area doing Brewery crawls)

anyone saying Tchoupitoulas is sketchy never saw it in the 80s. It is light-years better than it ever was before

Correct. I sort of agree with the guy lamenting the notion that none of these places are really "walkable" at all or in an area conducive to it, though.
The economics of NOLA real estate are likely what is driving these Tchoup locations more than anything, along with more stringent local zoning/NIMBY type shite.

That stretch between Napoleon and the interstate would be a great day if you wanted to brewery hop on a bachelor party/guys trip. This will make the 4th brewery on that like 2 mile stretch. Have Barracuda and Francolini's as stand alone food, and one of the top pizza places in the city at NOLA. Then also have Tchoup Yard.
