ABInbev opened a 10 Barrel brewpub in Denver

The 10 Barrel brewpub in Bend and Portland totally kick arse. Solid beers, including many local beers that are not distributed. Great pub grub and one of the best vibes of any brewery I've been to.
Has anybody here ever been to the 10 Barrel in Denver? Review seem to be great. Is anybody dead set against going because of the ownership?

They own goose island and i still covet bourbon county. So I'd go.

It's certainly going to move them to the bottom of the list after all the local joints.

My issue would be that it just seems like more of a corporate gimmick than anything. Moreso than feeling like I need to "boycott" because it's ABInbev.

I have been. It is pretty cool but certainly put that on the bottom of the list when visiting Denver craft beer pubs

I've been going to 10 Barrel since before they sold out. Nothing has changed. I can't see any influence from ABInbev, so it's not a corporate gimmick. It's all 10 Barrel.
I haven't been to the Denver location, but from the pics, it is very similar to the Portland location (both have rooftop bars, similar décor, and really cool tap set ups), and definitely not some cookie cutter store. Having said that, it's clear that they put a lot of money into the brewpub, but then again, so did 10 Barrel before ABInbev bought them (In their 3 previous locations: Bend, Portland, and Boise).
You will never see 10 Barrel in my fridge. Frankly, I'm not a fan of their distro stuff. They are a perfect example of a brewery that cans all their mediocre beer and sells the "good stuff" as taproom only. Having said that, I don't mind going to the Brewpub and supporting the local waitresses, bartenders, kitchen staff, and brewers at the local brewpub. As LSUBoo said, it is not at the top of the list, but the food and beer is good enough to bring me back on occasion.

Have not tried their beer.
I wouldn't bother. Usually, but their distro stuff is average, at best. Their tap list at the brewery has some good stuff on it, but there are many places in Portland that make better beer.
I know you're coming to Portland with you're family and won't have much time to hit up breweries, but this place is actually a great place to take the family. The rooftop is great if the weather holds up. Usually it is bustling and the food is upscale pub grub.
My advice to you is to hit up breweries where the food is good enough that your family won't be upset with you for taking them there for lunch/dinner.

I’ve been to the one in Boise several times. Not much has changed atmosphere or beer wise since the acquisition. Still not a huge fan of their beers and I’d go to TRVE three times before I’d step foot in 10 Barrell Denver.

Yep, and before they sold out I hated it then.
I only go now and then to sit on the patio and eat their pizza which I love.

Before the brewpub opened, the distro was all we could get and it was not real good. After the brewpub opened, the beer got better, simply because their one offs are better than their regular lineup. But they nailed it with the look and feel of the brewpub. I tend to go for the food and find a beer that I like. I don't go for the beer, because there is too many places in the area with better beer.
