Bud and miller light have their place in this world
ETA: He wouldn't kick you out. But he would rag on you the whole day and think he is hilarious. So, the goal in life is to be somewhere in the middle of my hardheaded coonass dad, and a food board snob

I'm no brewing expert by any means, but wouldn't the yeast convert the high fructose corn syrup into alcohol, thus leaving the corn syrup non-existent in the final product?

Let me tell you one thing OP, it will be a cold day in hell before I quit drinking Budweiser. There ain't nothing in this great land more merica than Budweiser, except maybe Coca Cola and McDonalds, I ain't giving them up either. So you can take your commie list and stick it where the sun don't shine.
PS - I know bud is owned by some European company, but they still make it here, so it's still merica.
