Doing a beer exchange next week in Vegas with some colleagues. Bring 6 beers, locally found (i.e. the person who ends up with the beers would likely not find them in their hometown). People from all over the country will be there. The 6 beers should be 16 oz cans if available, if not, 12 oz cans. 6 different beers. Can be any type. Trying to be somewhat mainsteam - not brining totally out there beers.

Here is what I am thinking...

1) Ghost in the Machine
2) Andygator
3) Holy Roller
4) Reasonably Corrupt
5) Darkest Before Dawn
6) Envie (replacing Canebrake)

Anything you would change about this list? They are not the 6 beers I personally would want... but not everyone is IPA-heavy like I am.

I’d replace canebreak with envie, personally.

I'd ditch Andygator and add in something from Gnarly Barley.

Abita distributes to almost all of the US.

Replace Ghost in the Machine with an Old Milwaukee Red.

I don't see how anyone can claim GITM is a good beer. It's not and I would take Schlitz over it.

Catahoula Common or Corova Milk Porter?

I think if I added Jucifer I would be really IPA heavy.

Didn't realize they have grown that much.

Canebrake isn't my personal favorite but it's the best selling beer in New Orleans and you've already got Ghost and Holy Roller.

Rally Cap First Pitch
Anything from Parleaux. You can get a handful of different styles from there that would all be great.

Other than that, most breweries in Louisiana now are haze or bust. Cypress Coast and Rally Cap being the best in that style, IMO.

Something from Rally Cap would be good, though I get you not wanting to lean so IPA heavy.

Maybe mix in one of the Parish SIPS. Had the Grenache Grape & Raspberry this past weekend and it's solid!

Holy Roller is still better

I would also try and fit in a Rally Cap IPA. I have really liked every one I've had

If its out in time, Bayou Teche Waking Dead is pretty unique. Also, Rally Cap's Omaha Dreams is also pretty unique.

Id ditch the Holy Roller, Reasonably Corrupt, and/or Andygator for those above
