It's crazy to me how quickly American Solera has built up a reputation. It seemed like Prairie was the defining Oklahoma brewery, then suddenly American Solera popped up and stole their thunder.

Headed to Side Project this week.

You know that the American Solera founder is still the Prairie brewer, right?

I didn't, but I still think it's interesting how quickly their reputation built up. It seemed like maybe a year ago I heard people start saying, "Oh, if you're in Tulsa, you should also check out this new brewery, American Solera." So I get that they can piggyback off the brewer's reputation, but they've still built a name quickly.

Line status as of two hours ago. Still can't believe this line started yesterday at around 11pm. Anyone not in their chairs is for sure hanging out in the share tents, so all is good.

They must make a shite ton of beer then. I was there Thursday and they still had like 8 cases of green monsta. Also had 2 cans that were released Wednesday. I have had the 2 IPAs, haven't tried the saison I got, but I thought the IPAs were very good.

Not sure if they belong in the top 25 though.

I have zero respect for Gear Patrol if Bell's isn't even on their radar.

Definitely not a bad list.

With that said, Grimm should absolutely be on a top25 list. Russian River also.

Suarez is kinda a head scratcher.

Maine/Stillwater/Surly/Tired Hands/Allagash would be some of the first I would switch out for others

I was also wondering where Grimm was. Definitely worthy of consideration.

Better than most lists

I'll go with that. I could split hairs and argue, but I'd be happy with a beer from any of those places. A few I'm not familiar with as I'm not in the game as much as I used to be. The list is slanted towards IPAs and sours, but that's what American brewers are good at, so it makes sense.

I would agree with that. AA and De Garde both make American Wilds, so taking one of those off and replacing it with Block 15 or Great Notion would be fine with me.

Great Notion's new brewery and taproom is supposed to open later this summer. It will be relatively close to Breakside's Slabtown location.
