Bass Ale to me is as good as any beer I've tasted.
For most beer drinkers, it's about the quantity, not the quality.

Yes. They use corn syrup or rice in them to lighten the body or color. They don't bother trying to hide that but they certainly don't brag about it.

Yes, I understand the process. I'm just asking if that's something the big American lager brewers have always done or if there was a time they used only barley and no adjuncts.
