A residency requirement? I like it. It'll help keep all of the Jefferson Parish New Money out.

Damn snobs.

I found it - thanx for that. Wish I was going along for the lunch...

Last time I was in Clancy's, I went just to have dessert at the bar. James Carville and Mary Matalin walked in and they couldn't get a table.

Just start a thread about how great Johnny's pizza is or how bad it is and set the trap..

I'm a proud resident of the Island of New Orleans (evidenced by my property tax bill). In fact, until this thread began, I didn't even realize there was anything other than the Atlantic Ocean between New Orleans and the Old World.

I fear that they may all be conspiring to ensure that if and when Johnny's makes the tournament Johnny's will win it.

It is better to not mention the chain place, based in NE LA that uses a conveyor to cook their product. Shhhh.

My possible nominations for BR:

Brandt's Maisonette
Little Village
Louisiana Lagniappe
Ruffinos
Mansurs or Maison Lacour (play in)
Dempsey's or Sammy's (play in)
Anthony's Italian Deli
Albashas
Maybe Opies as a low seed too.

and btw, this:
quote:

8 from the French Quarter/Warehouse District New Orleans
4 from Uptown
3 from Mid-City/Lakeview
1 from Gentilly/NO East/8th Ward/9th Ward
1 from Chalmette
8 from East Jefferson (Kenner, Metry, Jefferson, River Ridge)
3 from West Jefferson (Gretna, Marrerro, Westwego, Avondale, Grand Isle)
6 from the Northshore.

is way too many restaurants from one region

and 12 at large doesn't provide enough for SWLA and the Acadiana area.
