If you drop someone today, right now, they expire at 6:00 PM tomorrow. There is no way for me to stop someone from picking them up the next day @ 6:00 PM when they expire. We would be asking people to wait until after 9:00 when claims are announced to add a guy that is technically an unrestricted F/A. I don't have time to police it, either. There will be complaining either way. I talked it out with Gyno last week and it's just simpler to do it this way. If it's a big deal (never has been before this season) than we will switch sites next year.

Each day post the restricted FA and those guys can't be picked up until emails are done. We can police it ourselves, weird to switch when we set the precedent last week with Stewart

I think Hogan will be a solid 10-15 ppg when Brady gets back and Fuller was solid W1 and W2. Cruz is close to looking like his old self so far this season. Humphries is getting a ton of targets in Tampa.
Lockett has been a disappointment so far this year and White could improve as the season goes on.

He was dropped during the waiver wire. LE submitted a claim for him. Claims from the waiver wire are awarded at 9:00 PM before they expire (so that someone who didn't make a claim couldn't add him).

Since the beginning of the year we have been able to make claims on players dropped during the waiver wire as long as you get it in by 9:00 PM CST...none of that has changed. Now that claims have been processed, you can pick up any unrestricted free agent when they expire.

9:00 PM CST gives you nearly 24 hours to make a claim. This was announced 3 weeks ago, nobody had any complaints at that time.
Only thing that changes is how we handle the rest of the week, and that's because I can't control when a player is dropped during the day and when he comes unprotected...so when a free agent expires you can pick him up.
