Taysom named starter Nov 20th. Which is Friday.
Everyone knows when he was announced as the staring QB. The point is he was a speculative add when waivers ran this week because ESPN has said since Monday that they wouldn’t remove his TE designation this week even if he did start at QB.
You can keep posting that gif all you want, but it doesn’t make your stance any less ignorant.

Exactly. Any league with half decent fantasy players would have seen the value taysom offered at the te position this week even if he wasnt the starter. Even if Jameis started taysom would have played more than he usually does and would have probably outscored all but three or four of the tight ends rostered.
Plus the starting announcement was made pretty early in the day on friday.

The only people bitching about this are ones who didn’t know what was going on early in the week, or the ones who are playing against him this week.
He’s been mentioned all week as someone who should be rostered if you’re in an ESPN league.

Even if Hill takes 100% snaps at QB, how could espn pull his TE eligibility for ROS? That sets a terrible prescient. Yes, it’s their fault for creating this situation but I can’t recall a situation in any sport where they’ve pulled eligibility mid season

Most every other fantasy sports platform has done the right thing and changed his designation to QB only.

Lol. Why?
I don't think any leagues should voting on the issue or commissioners making calls on it. If someone was savvy and picked up Hill they should be allowed to use him to the extent that espn allows.
It is up to espn. They are already a joke of a platform to allow a quarterback to be inserted at Tight End even for this one week. I would consider never using the platform again if they don't change it after this week. I prefer real fantasy leagues not mickey mouse leagues.

He's been TE eligible all season. He was listed as a TE only because that's where he's mainly lined up throughout his career. They said this morning that it's been 67% of the time.

Well this is what you said...
I was offering you their explanation.

ESPN is terrible for fantasy football. It's idiotic to have a starting QB at TE this week. I realize a lot of people in this thread haven benefited from it, but at least try to maintain some objectivity.

He started the week as a TE. People used waiver claims and FAAB on him as a TE. A game had already been played before he was announced as the starting QB. Do you think it would have been fair or objective to change his eligibility after all of that?

Alright let's get the next controversy for this one going.
ESPN will change him to a QB next week.
However if you don't make any changes to your lineup, he'll stay in that TE spot. You won't be able to make any moves/changes, however.
1. Is that bush league, and the commish should intervene or
OR
2. If someone is going to not make any roster moves just to keep him at TE, that's their risk to make.
Discuss.

I’m sure espn can make it to where hill has to be removed from the TE spot.
