Fear:
A well built team that has safe and non flashy guys.
quote:
Lowry is one of the safest options out there at PG with little downside. His minutes will get dialed back as I don't see him playing 37 mins a game this season on a deep raptors team. He is opting out so there's that but last year was the ceiling(albeit a very good one) something like 18/7/4 is what I'm figuring.
Rubio is very similar to rondo in terms of what they'll do: consistent double doubles with the occasional trip dub but can have nights that can piss you off. He does have a trade risk but I don't think that'll happen anytime soon as Dunn isn't ready. He's a good value given his ADP and should payoff well.
MCW I actually think could have some decent value behind rondo ala what collision did last year in SAC. He's Rubio lite and has a game that can produce points even in limited minutes.
Oladipo has a really nice game for a SG and has grown each year. He's clearly an upgrade for a SG spot that's been mired in mediocrity post harden and shot help replace a good portion of KDs scoring along with good counting stats. There are a few concerns the namely how will he operate off-ball alongside Westbrook and his General streakiness. He is going a little early for my taste but I believe he'll have a pretty nice year.
Johnson should be reliable fill in but won't have much upside that Utah team is loaded with young wings. He found the Fountain of Youth last year but I'm not expecting Miracles this year.
We know how good bron bron is but there is some concern that he'll be rested even more this season. He did play 76 games last year which was a nice surprise and I'd suspect he'll play somewhere around 72-75 games do to him being a conditioning freak.
I think Marvin Williams was a great value pick. He's extremely consistent and that value is pretty difficult to find at that stage in the draft. He won't blow you away but he's a pretty consistent 15 points a night for you.
quote:
Ryno should put up very similar stats in Houston as he did as a pel. As you know his weaknesses are his mediocre rebounding/ injury proneness/streakiness. I like where you got him.
Favors hasn't really broken out like some have thought but he's established himself as a true building block. He's got a very nice floor at 16/8 and has been a model of consistency. The knees slightly concerning but I wouldn't worry too much he's a warrior.
Gortat has been a fantasy staple for years now and that shouldn't change in 2016-17. He's got one of the best point guards in the business and a hopefully healthy Beal and should also help as well to give space. He's not flashy but he's a consistent 17-18 points.
Zaza's always been a very underrated and should be a nice fill in for you. He won't score more than eight or nine points what will give consistent rebounds good FT shooting and some dimes to the 4 horsemen. A sneaky late round pick.
Mosgov is a borderline guy imo
A well built team that has safe and non flashy guys.

Does everyone understand the playoff tiebreakers? Dont want any crying at the end of the year.

Late october is always the time when I really start losing interest in football and just go through the motions setting my lineup. Baskeball is by far the best fantasy sport

The tiebreaker is however ESPN does it. If people are tied and someone gets into the playoffs and not the other, then that is final since ESPN put them forward. I still don't know how the tiebreaker works so it is left up to the system to do it

Last year seemed like a rare occurrence. I don't see anything like that happening again.

Sheep:
Needs a bit of SF depth and has a bit of risk but some big upside as well
quote:
Kemba I believe still has some upside as he enters his prime. Hes shown legitimate growth in recent times in terms of efficiency and I expect that to continue. Some thing like 21/6/4 with 43-44% FG is very attainable.
Rose is more of a lower midrange backup these days as he'll share the ball with Melo and KP and his general inefficiency. He'll have some explosive nights but generally just be kinda "meh". you got him late enough that the risk is minimal so if things click it'll be looking good.
Knight should be in for a really solid year as the 6th man in phx. His game translates well to that role and is behind one of the most injury prone guards in the league. Something like 15/4/3 off the bench is a good guess with huge upside should Bledsoe go down and his ability to be put in at PG or SG is a nice plus.
Wiggins is a slightly lesser version of what derozan is now. The scoring will obviously be there but the counting stats really started to come around and I like him to add about 2 between assists and boards(so around 2.5 Asts and 5 boards). He's on a team that's got a lot of young scoring talent and should be really fun to own.
Bradley and KCP are quite similar with the former being a slightly better option. They arent flashy but will give you 13-14 a night and are fine depth pieces. Bradley has a ton of Gs in Boston though.
There's a lot to like about Jabari this season. He's gonna have even more opportunity with Middleton out and another season removed from injuries. We saw what he was capable of post ASB last year and I think a notch below that is a good expectation but he has the upside to be a monster. The bucks will have spacing issues but Parker has been ultra efficient around the basketball and his outside shot will continue to improve.
quote:
Kristaps is a perfect fit for hornaceks system. His shots improved even further and has the green light to launch bombs and can finish with how freakish he is. He's improved his ball handling so around 2 asts with 7 boards and 2 blocks is about what I'd expect. The only real risk is the other mouths on the roster and Drose dominanting the ball but KP is efficient enough to make the most out of his shots.
Randle is a really underrated late round gem imo. The only thing his game lacks is his below par FG% I expect that to rise 2-3% with makes him a 12/8 guy with 2.5 asts per game and a really nice floor. Luke Walton should be a great help to him as well and hes only 21.
Marcus Morris is a solid bench glue guy you can plug in. I don't love his upside with si many forwards in DET but he'll have his role and be consistent.
Cousins could reach near Westbrook levels of usage in SAC in a new system. If he can get that FG% up a couple points he could have one of the best seasons we've seen from a center in sometime. I'm not worried about his game but the kings are a mess and trade rumors will swirl along with his antics. Enjoy the ride.
Capella won't be too special but he's a very solid backup center with some nice upside. His FT% blows but the new rules should help.
Needs a bit of SF depth and has a bit of risk but some big upside as well

Anyone know when ESPN usually adds the secondary position eligibility? I thought it was before the season in the past
Posted on 10/26/16 at 6:26 pm to TigerTatorTots
They added some for my players

Pretty solid for me last night.

Several of my guys gave dual position eligibility already. Idk if any were added but I noticed during the draft the ones that dual or sometimes three positions like the Greek freak.
Posted on 10/26/16 at 9:04 pm to Big Saint
Yea the dual eligibility is a big benefit to have in this league
