He's done that the last 2 weeks.

He's due for something decent. Has the most overall talent in that backfield, just needs the reps and snaps.

I know it. But man that guy has been the most consistently solid “backup” for several teams.

I feel bad for Fitzy, man. Guy keeps getting on these shitty teams and balls out then gets benched for the young kid.

Bit of revisionist history here all those other times you skipped the part where he threw a billion picks and looked completely awful in order to get benched

Yeah that's true too. I guess I just have a soft spot for an underdog player that plays that hard all the time with that much emotion.

Dolphins know Fitz will regress to the mean shortly, I’m guessing they like Tuas health and think he gives them a higher ceiling to compete and to let him get some reps in

If he didn’t play this season there would’ve been a big narrative about how long it’s been since Tua played live reps and there will be growing pains either way. This season is just a bonus for them so might as well get them out of the way now and see what you’ve got.

Another small part of this is you’ve got a real shot at a top 5 draft pick again from the Texans trade, I’d want as much info on Tua as possible if I’m gonna be in a position where I will likely have to pass up some really good QBs next draft. Highly unlikely they would take another QB, but if Tua gets out there and looked as lost as Rosen did as a rookie for example, it can drastically change your view of things

Gaskins and Parker for sure I would think

Parker has to be assumed to be a downgrade until proven otherwise. He has been a monster w/ Fitz. Hard to imagine a rookie stepping right in and maintaining that production.

I want to feel like Gaskin and Gesicki can have higher floors now. Should be a lot of dump offs.

Fitz has produced WR26, RB16 and TE10 in PPR leagues. It would be a tall order for Tua to match that

Could be wishful thinking but I think Gesicki could be the one that stands to gain the most from starting a rookie QB. Pretty dynamic security blanket.

TE10 in PPR

As a former Gesicki owner, this is a little misleading. His numbers are swollen by 1 game where he blew up.

However, if he even has a low floor with Tua starting, that's an improvement over his current floor, which is literally 0 targets.

Out of players with more than 20 snaps on Sunday. Jason Kelce led all offensive players 79.2 grade. Travis Fulgham proved last week wasn't a fluke by earning a 75.2 grade.
