2012 Redd Rankings for RW3R

I'll start with the lowest ranked overall team and work my way up the ladder.
Please note that this is strictly using CBS projections in my formula. I took the top rated player at each position on your team and considered him the "starter," as well as the top 3 unused hitters for the U spots.
For pitching, I considered your top 5 SPs and top 3 RPS to be "starters," and considered everyone else to be a bench player.
Here we go...

Earl:
Starting Lineup: 39.77 (13th)
CBS is fond of Miggy, Stanton, and Santana. After that, lots of holes. 2B appears to be a problem, and the OF is pretty weak. As usual with Earl, lots of young players that could be boom/bust in 2012.
Pitching: 39.68 (12th)
His top three pitchers according to CBS all have RP eligibility, although Moore will be used as a starter. Ironically, Earl probably has the oldest bullpen in the league. Moore could be a stud, and Hudson is solid, but after that, lots of concerns.
Bench: 5.53 (14th)
Earl typically uses his bench to stockpile prospects, and this year is no different. Because of that, he gets lots of zeros from his bench players. CBS also hates Rick Porcello, and I agree with them.
Overall: 84.98 (14th)
I see too many issues to overcome for this to be a playoff team this year. Earl is doing the right thing by staying young, and I anticipate him using those closers as trade bait as the deadline nears.

Lester Earl
Starting Lineup: 46.71 (6th)
Pretty well rounded from what I can see on paper, although steals will be lacking (especially if Crawford doesn't run as much when he returns). Justin Smoak is a starter in this scenario, which could be good or bad, depending on his season. He has a couple of options in that spot though if he falters.
Pitching: 34.63 (14th)
Wow. CBS hates this staff. They like Kennedy and Cain, and that's about it. Personally, I don't think it's THAT bad, although there are some question marks in Jimenez regaining his old form, Feliz' move to the rotation, and if Ogando can continue to build on success. I really like Chris Sale, and he looks good in spring ball.
Bench: 19.53 (12th)
I'm intrigued by two players: Ibanez and Alvarez. Both could really provide a boost, but both could fall flat on their face. I have Broxton on the bench in this scenario due to the CBS rankings, but he could be a nice asset if he nails down the closer's role.
Overall: 89.37 (13th)
Gotta say that I was shocked to see this ranking for an LE run team. Some of it makes sense, but I don't see any way that Lester allows his team to be as bad as CBS thinks it will be.

That confirms my bench is 13. Cool with it.

my pitching is jumbled:
i have 3 designated relief pitchers that will be starters that do not have SP eligibility yet.
I have 2 SP designated players that will be relief pitchers who do not have RP eligibility yet.
im not sure how that fits in.
I took a lot of guys to see what sticks. Which prob bogs down my ranking
Im not high on my pitching. But it wont be that bad.

Chatagnier
Starting Lineup: 46.95 (5th)
According to CBS, five strong contributors in Ellsbury, Gonzalez, Wright, Morse, and Pence. Then there's a pretty drastic dropoff. I kinda agree with that assessment, although those first five are good guys to lean on (frick Pence though).
Pitching: 38.85 (13th)
Price, Pineda, and a bucket of shite. I actually like Minor personally, but the rest of the pitchers leave a lot to be desired. Tough break on Soria. It should be noted that Soria's ratings points are included like he's gonna play the entire season healthy (which he's not), and this is STILL the 13th ranked staff.
Bench: 8.25 (11th)
No real impact players at all off the bench. Brantley, Smith, Infante, Figgins. It's almost the exact same guy throughout the bench.
Overall: 94.05 (12th)
Personally, I think it would take a miracle for this team to make the playoffs. Stranger things have happened though.

You have to click the CBS button. Don't remember what its called.
By 3rd RP was autopicked because I couldn't close it but since I had one error I didn't say anything.

Going to be interesting to see how CBS changes it's baseball product to compete with the free products of ESPN and Yahoo!
Every single prospect I could think of is now in the yahoo database.

Overall I've been impressed with CBS and their upgrades.

That has been the only thing holding us on CBS. After this year I imagine everyone will vote to move.

Chowds
Starting Lineup: 41.41 (10th)
This offense lacks star power, and is old. CBS seems to hate it, and I hate it even more. Not really much else to say.
Pitching: 42.40 (11th)
Tons of question marks after Weaver. Health concerns (Wainwright, Carpenter), and uncertainty in guys like Norris and Danks. Not a fan.
Bench: 10.65 (7th)
Kinda boring, but there are some potential sleepers. Nothing to get too excited about though.
Overall: 94.46 (11th)
Chowds claims he is an expert. Time to put up or shut up. Honestly, it looks like he is planning an escape from the league with the way his team is set up. I predict you will be looking for a new owner as early as next season.

yea..but ESPN and yahoo have been making equal upgrades.
I do agree that CBS' commish tools and advanced options are still way ahead of the pack..but the gap is closing fast.
