Geaux

Starting Lineup: 41.14 (12th)
No absolute studs, although Holliday and Reyes have their moments. Fairly young group of guys with potential to outperform this ranking.

Pitching: 42.94 (10th)
Intriguing guys in Strasburg and Darvish. Kuroda is consistent and fairly solid. Back end of the rotation is pretty weak. Bullpen isn't totally proven, but I like their upside.

Bench: 12.15 (4th)
Wild cards in Viciedo and Gamel. Martinez could be a nice bench option over the course of the year as well.

Overall: 96.23 (10th)
This team could challenge for a playoff spot if guys like Strasburg and Reyes stay healthy, and a few of the younger guys (Darvish, Ackley, Montero) live up to expectations.

Ellsbury, Gonzalez, Wright, Morse, and Pence

Thats a scary 5.
Ellsbury's power surge came out of nowhere, let see if he can maintain anything close.

CarGo came down off his insane 2010 campaign where he had an astronomical .384 BAPIP, although since he has wheels it will be pretty high always, but he's a 20/20 guy and you can never have too many of those.

Wright was a guy you could basically pencil in for 30-100-15 which is crazy good value at the hot corner. He's had two disappointing seasons that bookended a wright like 2010. Including an odd 2009 where he had a .394 BAPIP yet managed to hit .307, mind blown.

Morse burst onto the scene last year with a stellar season. He's quite an oddity though as he's going into this season as a 30 year old with more AAA PA than ML PA 1287v1260. He never flashed too much power in the minors but you never know, maybe a light flipped.

Hunter pence voted most likely to not look like a professional athlete 7 years running is in Philly now but I think he's just a little too late to ride that offensive bandwagon, the Phils offense is going to be pretty avg this year if they are lucky. Pence got off to a rocket start to begin last year obviously trying to get out of that garbage hole called the Astros. He'll be good for 20 homers but his run and RBI production will rely heavily on a crippled Phillies lineup.

This group could feast or famine, likely thought will land somewhere in the middle.

Starting Lineup: 41.33 (11th)
I think the reason this lineup is so low is because after Longoria, it lacks true star power. However, I find it to be relatively solid throughout. Homers will be an issue though.

Pitching: 43.61 (9th)
I'm not a huge fan of any starter on this staff, but they all are fairly reliable. I don't know if I totally trust Collmenter yet. Big Z could pay huge dividends if he really is a changed man in Miami.

Bench: 12.85 (1st)
CBS finds this to be the strongest bench, but I'm not so sure. I like it, but Trout isn't starting off in the majors this year, I have no idea what to expect from Brandon Allen at all, and I'm not a fan of de Aza. Lots of upside overall though.

Overall: 97.79 (9th)
This almost reminds me of a McCain-run team. No huge stars, but guys that get the job done. Interested to see how things turn out with this team...

Nevermind then. He's a beast, and even though he and Kemp led the league in BABIP last year, i expect him to have another monster(pun intended)season.

Starting Lineup: 37.42 (14th)
Clusterfrick. CBS got it right.

Pitching: 47.85 (3rd)
3rd overall? I don't see it. No stud to lean on, although Bumgarner has serious potential and could become one, as could Gio Gonzalez. I think Beckett is about to fall off big time.

Bench: 12.76 (2nd)
I do like the bench options on this team. Harper will be a star, and according to this assessment, Freese is currently a bench player. He should probably be in the starting lineup. Will Ian Stewart ever be what he was supposed to be?

Overall: 98.03 (8th)
I think CBS has this team overrated a bit, especially the pitching staff. I think the weak offense will prohibit this team from being in the playoffs.

Vick's Kennel Club

Starting Lineup: 43.73 (8th)
Is this dude a Rangers fan? Hamilton, Napoli, and Young all in the lineup (not that its a bad thing). I like the makeup of this offense at the top. The bottom half is a little meh.

Pitching: 44.74 (6th)
I like this staff more than CBS does. Greinke, Haren, and Johnson is a formidable trio, and the supporting cast is pretty solid. Bullpen lacks saves as of now.

Bench: 10.98 (6th)
Decent options, although I wouldn't count on any of them for long stretches if a starter were to go down.

Overall: 99.45 (7th)
Pretty well balanced team overall. If he can pick up some good free agent bats over the course of the year, he could be a contender.
