The far left woke crowd is not the way. The Dems of the 90s would have won easy.

Probably not cause they are idiots and already blaming Americans for being racist and misogynistic. While the truth is people just want to be able to afford their groceries

if they want to beat Vance they are going to have to because the candidate is going to have to be logical and likable

Yes, to moderation.

The economy is going to get real shitty and they can just do Bill Clinton "it's the economy stupid" from a moderate leader from a Rust Belt State.

Likely candidates are Whitmer and Shapiro.

It’s a good question. I think the jury is still out on that.

Their first play will be to resist and obstruct. If the Trump admin experience any hardship or setback (like Covid) they’ll use it. Some deep staters will look for was to create such a setback.

If Trump’s agenda is actually enacted , and the country prospers from it, they will probably come back to the middle for awhile.

Well, if the Dem Party leadership has any brains, they will realize the extreme leftism is not going to work going forward and they need to go back to a more moderate platform.

A week or so ago Paul Manafort addressed this in an interview with Tucker. It’s worth a listen and makes sense.

No. They will reflect for a couple days about being too far left then return to progressivism.

Yep I saw a post by white woman who stated "This can't be the world my children grow up in!"

And it was 15 paragraphs of gnashing at the teeth

Which one of those do you think will be able to sell the nation on their economic wizardry to tackle it over Vance?

If recent history has shown us anything it’s that the left lives in a bubble with zero capacity for self reflection.

If anything, they will now double/triple down and go further left. Screaming about Nazis an racicsts all the way.

The few “moderates” in the Dem party might convert but the base will only sink deeper. It’s all they know.

Like the last 3 Presidential elections, it will be a referendum against the prior regime.

Just like how the current admin was linked to the economy and immigration, Trump/Vance will be blamed for the shitty economy we're about to have.

Vance will have to explain why he couldn't get Trump to do whatever he is going to come up with on the campaign, just like Kamala. He's going to have to shite on Trump or say what they did while in power was the right thing (and try to sell that to a population angry about the status quo).

They will become more quiet on trans stuff, getting away from oil/gas, but I doubt they truly shift.

Literally all they have to do is enforce the border, stop the DEI and shun the weirdos. They can't because everything is a PR move to them and that would "threaten the coalition" or something. They all need to be replaced. Fetterman is a guy they should look to, but they won't. They will double down because they can't help themselves

It's a gordian knot when you're the VP from an admin coming under fire.

I don't think Vance is going to be able to win the GOP nomination shitting on Trump and he'll be on record in the general with those stances.
