CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) – Many voters in Champaign County are not able to vote this morning after an issue that has brought most polling locations down.

The Champaign County Clerk Aaron Ammons confirmed to WCIA this morning that there are network issues that are preventing people from voting. He told us there is no timeline to be resolved. He states it is all polling locations.

Ammons also told us he got a call from Sangamon County that there are issues in that area as well.

For those not familiar Sangamon County is Springfield. Interesting the two largest downstate cities (Springfield and Champaign) ran by dems are having issues. Most of both counties are rural and farmland but influenced by the capitol in Springfield and University of Illinois in Champaign

Let the frickery begin ….

Never ceases to amaze me…

In every election, the voting machines in Dem strongholds go the way of the McDonald’s ice cream machine

Anyone who knows anything about data security knows this is a horrible data.

In a situation where foreign state actors are involved theres virtually no way to secure every voting center if they’re connected to the internet.

Hacking them would be child’s play for China (or the US IC for that matter).

I live about 20 minutes west of Champaign in the countryside. Great to see all those liberals in Champaign/Urbana with their voting machines down this morning! If it keeps up, Nikki Budzinski (Democratic House rep) may be at risk of losing her seat!

Not this time. It's actually hurting the Democrats. Urbana is a huge liberal bastion and if they can't vote in force, the Dems may lose the House seat here that is probably 55% Dem/ 45% Rep.

It's almost like these people decided yesterday at 4:00 PM to have a national election today. They have one job!

Every single one of the states / counties with reported issues the people in charge on all levels should be fired.
No questions asked, if people were unable to vote it should be immediate termination with all state / county / parish whatever pensions lost.

Champaign is full of Democrats who can't run anything competently, including the local schools. This is no surprise.

It should just be law, that if you have electronic voting machines, that you have to have paper ballots on stand by. This is really a form a voter suppression. Since it is not near Chicago this is probably a red area. (or maybe not)

If anyone else effed up at their job like this they would be fired
It’s BS that govt jobs get away with whatever with no repercussions

Not sure if this is the case here but it would make sense for them to be connected to each other over a local network. That could be done without actually being connected to the open internet.
