Doesn’t make sense to me that you can vote in multiple places as an option. That tells me they do not check if against rolls. I have one very specific place that has my name in the book that must be matched to my id, I have to sign and my ballot is recorded next to my name.

Y'all are still behind the times in Louisiana. In Texas, they scan our driver's license and the computer pulls up our voting registration. I live in Harris County and can vote anywhere in Harris County. It pulls up the correct ballot for the races in your districts. It's been quite a few years since I signed a paper ballot at the single polling place I could vote at. Probably 2004?

in Kansas and Missouri, you also only have one assigned polling location. You can't vote anywhere else.

It seems like voting wherever you want in AZ is one lax election provision a series of lax election day provisions to allow these state election systems easier to exploit for the highly motivated and informed fraudsters.

Nothing like using democrats tactics against them .

It’s really the best way to Jedi mind trick them. If they are using it to their advantage while you bitch about it, they’ll fight to maintain that advantage. Now come in and take it away from them by playing by their rules and they start singing a different tune.

In TX, you just have to vote in your county. It’s electronic machines so they automatically know what your ballot looks like. It’s not that complicated, although I get the dominion type concerns!

We haven’t had paper since I began voting in the 90’s but we do have a single location and early vote options at central locations per parish.

Serious question. What other forms of ID do they accept besides drivers license? Or does it have to be a drivers license?

After reading others comments, it doesn’t seem like a bad idea. It’s just different from what I’ve ever done. And I’ve been voting 1987. I have never had a paper ballot in my life.

I’m more curious to know what happened if you do not have a drivers license to be scanned. Do they take other forms of ID?

They are going to vote at the other precinct and then come back to this one after the line goes down.

I hope so, because they are Kari Lake and Trump supporters.

I'm in Tennessee. There are multiple different places within the county I can vote. I choose the one closest to my office. My Wife chooses the one closest to our house.

But your name is still checked against a county voter roll, correct?

correct. You give them your ID, and they look up your name, verify your address, and a ballot is generated for you to insert into a voting machine. Then, once done, you selections are printed on that sheet and you then deposit it into a separate machine to lock in your vote. If you've already voted, a ballot won't print out.

Remember this is where voting machines "broke down" in heavy repub areas and the lines were absurd. Looks like they came prepared for the shenanigans.

Same in Bama you have to go to your assigned polling location.

You sure about that? I have gone to multiple different ones over the years while using the same address. I think it just needs to be in the same parish.
