Let it be decriminalized with benign penalties but full on legalization is asking for organizd crime to take over and become empowered.
I'm not sure what you mean by "organized crime," but if you are referring to the "Good Ole Baw" network that inevitably dominates and controls the legal weed trade in states in which it is legalized, I definitely agree with you.
Just like the lottery.

Well this is overwhelmingly false
Ok... I'll play, excluding medical marijuana, what, in society, has improved because of marijuana legalization states where it is legalized.
For example, how is Colorado now better off than they were pre legalization.

Nothing has improved because of weed
In Oklahoma, dumbasses here voted to legalize "medical" mj without there being a plan to regulate it. The Chinese swooped in and paid premiums for land to start their farms and began growing and harvesting illegally and selling cheap, unregulated weed making immense profits. Legislation finally got passed to regulate it somewhat. Legit groweries paid up and got legal, and started making a little profit. Chini kept doing it illegally. Then more legislation passed and then another round just weeks ago and small groweries can no longer afford to produce, and are shutting down. Chini is still in business and nobody does anything about it.
Now, there's beginning to be only massive groweries greasing the right palms to stay operable, and Chini still doing it unregulated and greasing the same palms to avoid getting busted.
My daughter and her fiancee just closed the doors on a growery that they invested $800,000 into, because they were regulated out of business. So yeah, I know what I'm talking about and I'm fricking pissed. Meanwhile, go to any Walmart or Atwood's or Tractor Supply and there's Chini, stinking of skunk weed and buying up propane bottles for his illegal extraction and processing.
It's a shite show. If you don't have a solid, workable regulation plan in place that is fair for everyone, don't vote "yes" on weed just so you can smoke legally, because it'll hurt your state in the end. Just keep smoking on the DL because no one gives a shite about that any more.

That was not a straight up legalization bill. It was a "who gets to grow it?" bill.
Correct. The growers are already identified with Morgan and Morgan positioned to make billions. frick John Morgan who reported spent $50MM of his own money trying to get it passed.

And that is exactly what I'm talking about.

Personal freedoms of individuals to indulge in marijuana if they so choose.
Even recreational marijuana is helpful for stress and depression.
Are you in favor of alcohol being legal? If so, why is that okay, but marijuana isn't?

Have you been to Florida lately?
The smell is obnoxious everywhere. You can't work without getting high from 2nd hand in pennsecola

This wasn't just a legalize weed mandate in Florida. There were other issues with the amendment which is why it didn't pass or one of the primary reasons. Had they allowed people to grow their own - It would pass.
You can't grow your own now, even if you have a medical card and it's legal for you.
I voted yes on 3 and no on 4.

Still have medical, so it could be worse.
But they limit you to 2.5 ounces every 35 days which kind of sucks.

Good so when I go out at the beach I don’t have to be around trashy losers while waiting for a table.

Perhaps enough people have traveled to states where it’s legal and noticed how anytime you’re out in public you cannot escape the overwhelming strong smell of skunk. And perhaps they remembered that experience and decided they didn’t want to have to smell that in their hometown.
