* FIRST, propose a Constitutional Amendment to impose term limits on all members of Congress;
* SECOND, a hiring freeze on all federal employees to reduce federal workforce through attrition (exempting military, public safety, and public health);
* THIRD, a requirement that for every new federal regulation, two existing regulations must be eliminated;
* FOURTH, a 5 year-ban on White House and Congressional officials becoming lobbyists after they leave government service;
* FIFTH, a lifetime ban on White House officials lobbying on behalf of a foreign government;
* SIXTH, a complete ban on foreign lobbyists raising money for American elections.

I'm liberal as shite around these parts and I fricking LOVE the focus of this shite. Im sure it will get overlooked with all the talk of a bullshite wall but THIS is stuff a vast majority of Americans should and could rally behind.

If it happens, America wins forever.

Yeah it's absolutely solid

I actually think #3 is arbitrary and way too vague, but Ill take if for the other stuff.

You mean to apologize and tell us thatTrump had some substance?
Posted on 11/9/16 at 7:57 pm to AUbused
Yeah it's a little strange but I like the concept

I'm a little unsure about 3 but the rest

He could've brought those points up in the debate

If he'll leave #2 in until the FedGov is about 2/3 the size it currently is, that's a major win.

LOVE THIS. I wish my corporate job would follow this. I swear they keep giving us new processes/procedures/checklists to include in our daily routine without EVER taking something away, which just results in more and more work in the same amount of time to do it.

He did and it was also out there in widely announced policy docs that were free for anyone on the web to go see. (that would be everyone in America, BTW)

Those are great items. Getting the term limits passed will be the most difficult simply because the people voting on it will be the ones affected, but the American people should demand term limits for congress, and the lobbyist stuff makes a lot of sense too.

These would be great for everyone

If people can let the hyperbole go, I think they are going to see a president who actually tries to get things done this time around. The guy isn't really a politician so he's not beholden to all the petty bullshite for show.

Well, last week I said I wanted Trump to win because of this type of thing. I still contend that he's an orange clown. I hope im proven wrong.
So......no. No apology tonight. But you can suck my bawlz.

Not commenting on the merits, but this is a waste of time. It would never pass Congress. Plus, for all of the rhetoric, most Americans wouldn't vote for it. Sure, we'd love to hit Pelosi with term limits. But most Americans want to be able to vote for whomever they want to when it's their own representative.
This was part of the Contract with America in 1994. It never passed the House, and it won't now. Constitutional amendment requires a two-thirds majority. Would never happen.
Stick to stuff you can get done. Don't waste time on something that has no chance.

All of those are racist, sexist, and homophobic.
