I don't feel bad. I think it's funny they are so confident. I'm really just confused why they feel the way they do. Especially the one's who are voting "for Trump" and not "against Clinton". Later tonight I'm gonna slip into my jammies, make some popcorn, plug my laptop into the TV and be ready for the meltdown party.

I have faith in our nation's ability to conduct a fair election today and in the early voting. I believe the system is not rigged no matter who wins today. I actually feel sorry for Americans who think we have a rigged system. To rig the system, one would have to have the cooperation of millions of Americans who actually carry out our voting and counting. It just does not happen that way.

Voting for Trump doesn't make you irrational. I get the appeal.

Thinking Trump is viable against anyone the DNC puts out there is however, not rational.

No, it's not surprising. People want to believe what they want to believe.

I don't, there is always hope and a Trump W is not out of the question.

If Trump doesn't win it will be the country's loss, not the individuals who voted for Trump.

They tried, and letting the status quo back in for four more years to loot the treasury, cut deals to weaken us at home and abroad, and to mortgage our future so the masses can have a slice of cake; is going to cripple us down the road. It is just a matter of time.

The people who blindly support Trump are cultists. The people who excuse his every gaffe are cultists. The people who claim that his every policy is conservative are cultists. The people who claim that his attacking the GOP harder than he ever attacked Clinton was a brilliant strategy are cultists. The people who think Trump is going to win in a landslide tonight are cultists.

How bad are you going to feel when this election year mirrors 1980?

Rational people will wait for election result.

Before hand, most people will look for indications that support their desired result.

So, I don't feel bad for anyone.......Even people who ask questions that are inane.

Many people will feel disappointed either way this vote falls. Just hoping I am not one of them!

Data points to a HRC victory and has for a long time. Obviously reality is going to set in at some point tonight and it's going to be hard to accept.

I have to fight my general disdain for stupidity and, worse, willful ignorance, and plead with the better parts of myself to feel bad for them, yes.

It's just that I don't know how you build bridges with people for whom facts have truly become an irrelevant consideration. They live so inside they little bubbles (like Poli Talk) that they seem unreachable at this point. EVERYTHING has descended into conspiracy mongering.

More likely expecting a defeat, but hoping for a win.

Trolled by an idiot fricking sheep.

I guess you are safe in the knowledge that Comey cleared Clinton in her breach of national security, she having no -intent- to break the law.

Clinton also, little sheep, and the facts are not disputed, lied under oath to a congressional committee. She destroyed evidence that was under subpoena.

Clinton Lies Under oath

Jump to the 3:13 mark to hear her tell a whopping lie under oath.

She gave access to her personal attorneys to over TWO THOUSAND classified messages.

None of those facts are disputed. On the latter idiot incompetent Clinton announced it at a NEWS CONFERENCE. THAT SHE CALLED.

1) 3/10/15 Clinton admits at a NEWS CONFERENCE that that her attorneys viewed her e-mails:

"We went through a thorough process to identify all of my work- related emails and deliver them to the State Department.”

LINK

2) Under oath adamantly maintains that her attorneys viewed her emails:

“CLINTON: I know that because there was an exhaustive search done under the supervision of my attorneys, and that is exactly the outcome. We turned over every work related email, in fact, as somebody referred to earlier, we turned over too many.”

LINK

And you still (I suppose) will or did vote for her.

This is a rant against your judgment and all the sheep that supported Clinton.

You judged that lying to Congress and destroying evidence is acceptable in a presidential candidate.

fricking sheep.

I don't have the confidence that he will win, but just taking a look at any poll, he's not that far off of Clinton. So to act as though he's some impossible underdog is not rational either. Now, he's certainly an underdog, but polls do show that there is at least a chance to a path to the white house for him.

I'll melt, but not because I have my hopes up and am overly confident. I'll melt because I have a good feeling that in 4 years, my take home pay will be another 5% less than what it is now.

Our system is based on public servants staying out of the race, a vigilant press asking and reporting fairly, and one man one vote for each citizen.

When you see officials in different government departments allied with one candidate, feeding them information, and helping them get elected that's wrong and evidence the election is rigged.

When you see the mainstream media giving editorial license to a candidate, giving a candidate advanced knowledge of debate questions, and working along side a candidate to question their opponent; then the system is rigged.

When you see officials and a political party working hard not to register citizens to vote, but to eliminate the chances of illegals voting an people voting multiple times, etc.; you know the system is rigged.

All of this has been made obvious over the last year or two.

Bernie Sanders didn't have an equal opportunity at the Democrat nomination. This was proven.

Hillary Clinton was given advantages by govt. employees, media employees and she even had the president on her side encouraging illegal voters.

Maybe "rigged" is the wrong term, but the scales are definitely in favor of one candidate over the others. And that isn't how our system is supposed to work.

No I feel bad for America if Hillary does.

Her supreme court picks alone will completely destroy what is left of our constitution.

They can't get the changes made they want through the constitutional process of amendments so they have decided to appoint political hacks to the court who will run rough shod over it.

It is really sad.

I wouldn't feel bad at all but you're talking about a fantasy scenario. It's like thinking my wife is going to walk through the door and tell me she wants me to get a 2nd wife and it's some fine Columbian girl she picked out.

and in 4 years when our constitution or whatever else you worship still exists you'll claim it'll happen if she is re-elected and in 8 years you'll claim it'll happen if the next democrat is elected.

Meanwhile life goes on.
