I'm 100 percent MAGA, but is politically intelligent to go after the Clintons?

Before you all jump my arse for posting this question, hear me out:
I want to see the Clintons held responsible for their crimes as much as anyone. HOWEVER...politics is a different world. Republicans need to be careful with how they handle the Clinton fiasco because it may encourage future elected administrations to dig up dirt as an excuse to criminally take down the previous administration. If we get into a cycle of revenge politics, why would any honorable person ever run for office if there is a fear that the opposition will attempt to criminally persecute you after your time in office expires?
I want the Clintons to pay for their crimes but I'm just thinking long term.
Perhaps I'm wrong.
What say you?
ETA: Legality isn't always black and white. For example, when George Bush invaded Iraq he had the support of the country. But once he was out of office, there were some liberal lawyers who wanted to see him brought to justice for war crimes.
That's what I'm talking about. You could be an honorable president and obey the laws of the land, but a group with an agenda could review your presidential decisions and claim you violated some obscure law or they could make a case for violation of law by interpreting the law in a different way than first intended.

Trump should not go after Clinton personally. He should make it very apparent that the emails are in the past and we should move on.
However, the FBI is still investigating Clinton Foundation, and he should ABSOLUTELY follow the recommendations of his investigative bureau and his Jusice dept.

Justice is not revenge.
Clinton is responsible for allowing people to die in Benghazi.
Clinton used her office to compromise National Security for profit.
The knuckleheads on the left that made Hillary out to be their hero will have to just get over it.

dude, haven't you figured it out yet? Trump went against THE ESTABLISHMENT bigly. R and D alike. He will piss them both off over the next 4 years and expose them for the colluding frauds they are.

the Clintons aren't above the law of the land

He should leave the email issue alone but don't let Obama pardon her....make her sweat for awhile.
He should have the IRS take a good look at the Clinton Foundation tho.
Time to move on from this.

I see what you're saying. But politicians wouldn't have anything to worry about if they didn't do illegal stuff. There's nothing wrong with holding people accountable for their actions, even high profile politicians. Maybe the thought of possibly going to jail for committing a crime will clean up DC's corruption just a little bit.

Yes they can't get away with trying to buy an election. If they broke the law they should be punished for it.
If she mishandled classified information she should be prosecuted for it.

Me, more than anyone I personally know, want her to pay for her crimes. However, I think Trump can go along way to heal this country by not personally going after her. Just let the FBI and DOJ do their jobs.

It was never about politics. That's what the left has been trying to peg it as, just some political hackery. The truth is, this is supposed to be a nation of fricking laws. It doesn't matter if you're black, white, hispanic, poor, rich, or political elite... The rule of law is the supposed to apply equally to everyone.
IF the FBI has reason to investigate and the DOJ has reason to prosecute, then GOOD. Maybe that will make the scumbags think twice before getting in bed with interests not aligned with the good of the American people.

Set the example that nobody is above the law.
Discourage future corruption.

it has to be made clear laws are for everyone, not just the little people in this country.

Seeking Justice is part of draining the swamp. I don't care if the last name is Clinton, Comey, Bush, or Ailes. Drain it!

Anything needs to done as should've in the past - let professional investigators work. No grandstanding or interference. No meetings on the tarmac. Giuliani doesn't need to be on Fox anymore talking about it. He may end up at DoJ and it will become politics as usual.

It is about justice. People elected an outsider for this reason. Lock her up.

Corruption is corruption. You want it gone or not, Drain the Swamp. Let the snake know we want it's head

I supposed you could argue that in principal, if it was right to go after her during the campaign its right now.
That being said, I think it would be politically wise to drop this in an attempt to bind the country. If he pursues it with vengeance I do think it will be seen as hyper-partisan and perhaps go down a road I dont think we want to go down. E.G. revenge politics you mentioned
