Most voters are not ideologues, they want government to work.

There are some things Obama has accomplished that might be noble and good; however, at this point, they were pushing the "rights" of illegal immigrants, cross-dressing transsexuals going into whatever restroom they wanted to, whether the police are too rough with people violently resisting arrest, things like that.

To make it short: if that's the most important things on your plate, I want someone with different issues to address. There are plenty of things more concerning to me.

This was actually a good post. That's a very fair assessment and reasonable position for a non-Trump supporter.

If he abuses his power at the expense of the rights and freedoms we all hold sacred (first amendment, freedom of the press)

And you're worried about this even though he's made absolutely NO threat against these freedoms. Amazing that people take the promise to (1) enforce the law of the land and (2) limit or eliminate immigration from areas that are know hubs of terrorism are magically transformed to enemies of free speech and freedom of the press.

Trump's victory despite being skewered for his outright disdain of politically correct speech is the biggest victory for free speech in decades.

If he was such a volatile douchebag, no one would want to do business with him and he wouldn't be rich. This talking point of Trumps Gonna Nuke Everyone That Doesn't Agree is beyond stupid.

I swear its like people have no clue how business works. Trump didn't build the Trump companies because he was entitled to the business and people didn't have a choice. Trump doesn't secure financing for deals, get contracts, etc because he walks in and slaps his nuts on the table and everyone bows to his greatness.

Above all else, his kids are not horrible people considering how "easy" they had it growing up rich. I'm sure they give away degrees at Wharton and Georgetown.

Do you think the press has the right to not only report what they want but to report it in a manner that is directly designed to influence people?

Yes, they should have that right.

He was chosen by the heart and soul of America, the working class people that feels our government has abandoned them
Abandoned would infer that the government has ever given a shite about the middle class.

The middle class is never acknowledged in this country. But only recently, over the last 8 years, has the middle class lost hope. The govt just passes legislation that hurts em, and they have no choice but to pony up.

Those people are fine with getting spanked occasionally, but the constant arse whippings were too much..and they poured out of their modest homes in the country and got in the booth.

so the press has no responsibility to report the truth?

Much like free speech doesnt mean you can yell FIRE in a crowded space.....I think their needs to be some responsibility to report accurately with unbiased information.

We still don't know who he really is or what he would be as the leader of the free world. This was my largest concern with him and why I couldn't vote for him.

This is where for me and your words rung hollow. If you're being honest, you couldn't vote for him because you absolutely loved and supported Hillary unconditionally, and your prior posts support that.

It's disingenous to say that had you known him or what he would do, you would have not cast your vote for Hillary. You were anti-Trump, pro Hillary from the get go. Can you at least admit that?

Is this the real life? As an independant, I can say that sure the three or four liberals that post were trolling sometimes, but there are dozens of straight up fricking a-hole trump supporters. Those are the guys that make you upset you voted for the same person they did.
It's one thing to be happy after a huge election, it's another just to be a dick, just to be a dick.

Well written. Well thought out.

Just know, by voting as you did, you are still part of the problem.

Fix it.

Somewhat conciliatory. You should acknowledge she was a terrible choice with way too much baggage from the start.

Her last name also was a hindrance strangely enough.

With that said, #MAGA

Why do you libs keep saying this?

Trump is an old school Dem in almost every way imaginable.

You're just programmed to hate anything with an R by it.
