Vaguely remember Columbine. I was 7 at the time. I do remember 9/11.

I remember 9/11, but was still too young to really understand what had happened. I also didn’t learn about it until after the attack was over. So for me, I remember the Columbia tragedy and the invasion of Iraq pretty well.

Reagan being shot. It interrupted my afternoon cartoons. I went into the kitchen hollering about it to my mom

I seem to remember Baby Jessica in the well from when I was 4 but maybe it is just I remember to news reports later and I am misremembering. I do know that I vividly remember watching the Gulf Wars get started on the evening news and then Oklahoma City bombing is ingrained in my memory as well.

Video of fighting in Vietnam on the TV evening news when I was 6 or 7 years old. Also one of the local stations used to do a segment on the 10 o'clock news that showed images of car wrecks, bloody passengers etc. Any of you local BTR baws remember that?

President Nixon's resignation is one of the early ones for me that's pretty clear. It obviously dominated every media outlet....I remember the State Times front page featured the largest print I'd ever seen...
