Got into a a heated argument about which is better. Strong proponent for Lebanon over Monas. My only problem with Lebanon (and Byblos for that matter) is that the grape leaves are hot vs cold. I think nearly everything at Lebanon is better than Mona’s though.

20 plus years ago Mona's humus was spectacular. Back when it was all tables outside.

Lebanon for sure. Acropolis is the best option in Nola.

Lebanon's and it isn't close. Combination shwarma salad with hummus and pita bread is the best meal in town.

Mona's turned me on to mediteranean food back in my college days of the late 90's early 00's, so it holds a special place in my heart. With that said, I never go there anymore. Their prices are nuts and the food just isn't as good as Lebanon, Acropolis and others

Falafel King is my go-to. Those flatbreads are so tasty.

Excuse my ignorance, but I was wondering about this. Does it cost anything extra to bring your own alcohol there?

Maybe a corkage fee but it's negligible. I forget if they even charge for it.

Unless things changed recently, no.
