New to us house, not sure what these are



Some looks like they may flower

Looks like gladiolus. Usually bloom in summer.

Louisiana iris, like it wet. Tuber root bulbs, can transplant bulbs in August -September, easy to grow.

The wife and daughter went to hike in Jean Lafitte State Park yesterday hoping to see the iris blooming but they were a tad too early and saw quite a few less than they had hoped for, but the plants were all over the place and the water was up in lots of areas with all the rainfall we've been having.

She did get a few pics of snakes and gators for her effort.
