No. Normal people are NOT Snowflakes. Only those caught up in partisan politics have an issue with this.

Didn’t the woman coach also stand? I’d say he knew she was standing and didn’t want her taking the questions/criticism after the game. He “fell on the sword” if you will, by standing for America

I think that’s what happened. Pop is known for being extremely loyal to his coaches and former coaches. I think she came to him and said she was gonna stand for whatever reason and he said she wouldn’t do it alone.
No other scenario makes sense for Pop to stand. He is THE left voice in the NBA.

the woman coach
Her name is Becky Hammon.

Doubtful.
Hammon's no stranger to criticism. She got a lot of flak during her playing days for having dual citizenship in the USA and Russia, but choosing to play for Russia in the Olympics.

Actually another scenario is he's an Air Force vet and chooses to always stand for the flag on those grounds. That's a more plausible scenario than anything Hammon related tbh.

I hope the nba ratings plummet

I wonder when he’ll make his tearful apology?

They keep moving the goalposts.
1) We should be allowed to kneel without punishment
2) You must agree with us kneeling and never criticize us
3) If you don't kneel, you're cancelled <---- we are here
Can't wait for step 4

Maybe pop and Kerr realized that nothing they do will ever really be enough. At the end of the day they are rich old white men, and there will always be “activists” who think their heads should be in a basket

I just stood, put my hand over my heart, and saluted Pop with a hearty “frick you!”

Of course if someone says they won't watch sports because of the kneeling they get blasted by the soy boys on here.

A soy boy is someone who would let someone’s opinion make them stop watching something they would otherwise enjoy watching. people who are so into partisan politics that any kind of dissenting opinion is a deal breaker is laughable and sad at the same time. And very soy.

Pop had always been more of a patriot than the mouth breathers on here that love to criticize him

I’m shocked pop stood good for him
