I don't think that is cosmetic. Emergency dental procedures are authorized. You need the crown to eat. If it isn't replaced, won't the base become infected? I would call around..

Do you have a hammer in the garage? Dab a little cocaine on the area, and tap it back in. WaaaLaa.....saved yourself a dentist visit and copay.

Calm down Elizabeth. Phillip can set it back on your head.

You're in extreme pain.

Not elective or cosmetic.

That’s not just the crown, baw. That looks like the entire implant. You need to get that fixed ASAP. You’ll get a bad infection if you don’t get that taken care of.

I will be open tomorrow. But pain or infection has to be involved. Seeing as it has a post I’m expecting neither in this case.

That isn’t a crown off. That tooth is broke. Get some temp cement from cvs and start saving for an implant.

Call around and find a dentist that can make you a new crown in one appointment.

It doesn't hurt, I was wrestling with my son and bumped it on his head knocking it loose. Then it came out when I was eating breakfast this morning.

I'm worried that I may swallow it if I use CVS cement and it comes out again.

I’d tell them that it does hurt. A little white lie that’ll prevent a bigger problem and give the dentist a little money.

If you can gain some mechanical retention with that post the temp cement will suffice if you baby it.

Tell your concern to the dentist and they might recement it for you. The board has very blurred lines on what we are allowed to do and keep telling us to use our discretion. But then they have sent multiple emails saying they will take our license if we step over said blurred lines. Every dentist I know is dealing with this differently.

If your tooth was so weak that you needed a post crown, you need to get your arse to a dentist ASAP.

That looks more like an implant and not a crown. I would say that you could get in to see a dentist for that procedure.

Send that pic to the dentist. Food is going to get packed in that root canal.

That should be authorized
