For someone to be a nationalist they must 1st be proud of their country. Venezuela has oil and gas. What else am i missing?

Yeah, that’s annoying, but still a good show.

Unfortunately, this is pretty much the standard for Hollywood adaptation's of Tom Clancy.

In "The Sum of All Fears" they changed the bad guys into like white nazis or something like that (been years since I've seen it), when in the book they were radical left-wing terrorists.

Yeah, still not as bad as Designated Survivor.

thank you - I was searching my failing memory for the name of that one.

Looked forward to it - until the start of the 2nd show - then sadly ignored it from then on.

btw - how long did it last>> is it still on??

This is the most overused crock of shite statement. Only butthurt bitches say this. Just so you are aware, it is ok for people to discuss open biases on a television show, movie or any other program. It's good and healthy, because it brings awareness to the program and allows other people both the chance to discuss it as well as an opportunity to make an educated decision if they want to watch it.

Now go put some ice on your poohole, pumpkin, and let the men have a discussion.

By the way, season 1 sucked. The entire drone pilot storyline was straight from the dem playbook. Guess what? I watch something else now

First thing in is they have changed the situation in Venezuela into a country run into the ground by a “nationalist” dictator and the protagonist is a woman running against him on a “social justice” platform.

it wasn't a great season but was enjoyable. but i did laugh at the opening episode when they made the far right guy in Venezuela the one causing the food shortages and government failures as opposed to what's actually happening in the real world.

I thought it was fantastic entertainment. Not as good as the first. I guess you missed that it is fiction.

it's not that it's fiction. it's that they take a real world situation and politically flip it to match a typical hollywood world view.

I enjoyed the second season. These people are just puppets who dance for cheers and money. Glad to see Johnny Tapia is still playing the a-hole role.
