First thing in is they have changed the situation in Venezuela into a country run into the ground by a “nationalist” dictator and the protagonist is a woman running against him on a “social justice” platform.

So... pretty much the exact opposite of anything that Tom Clancy would have written.

That sort of subtle and not-so-subtle ideological interjection is painfully hackneyed most of the time. Instead of distorting reality, tell us a captivating story and if you have a message then do it with some taste.

He was giving the state of the union address and mentioned the victories of the 20th Century - defeating the Nazis and taking down the Iron Curtain.
The latter was obviously a dodge- they couldn't bear to actually call out communists by name

Loved the show and can't wait for season 3, but I watch shows movies for entertainment and don't get bothered by stupid shite like this. It's not like it influences my thoughts or beliefs. It's just a show. I'll still be a republican even if I watch a show with a gay dude in it. If it bothers you, go watch something else.

There have been more movies and tv shows made about the Trump character or anti Trump commentary since 2016 than any other human being in history. 90% of all Hollywood productions are about him in some way. I’ve never seen anything like it.
