In no way am I comparing him to Jimmy Graham, but Jimmy didn't exactly have great numbers in college either.

My point is QB play can hinder even a freak like Graham. He had like 5 tds though, but only 17 receptions?

Hebert swears this dude is Creole French and doesn't get that it's probably after the liquor.

Was the #1 rated TE coming out of high school. Looks like consistency was an issue. That being said, the passing game at Notre Dame was not very good overall until last year which is when he had his best year statistically.

I think it’s a great pick. 1-2nd round talent on a team that will know how to use him. And if he doesn’t pan out, he’s a 7th round pick. I’d imagine he supplants Arnold who seemed to be in the doghouse last year.

And Brian Kelly took 1.5 seasons to figure out Wimbush was terrible even though every viewer could see he was not qualified to be a QB. When he put in Book scoring increased 15 points per game.

He really is a terrible coach who has squandered every edge ND gives him, he struggles to win games when his teams are loaded with NFL starters (i.e. 2015, 6 NFL starters, 4 of whom were 1st round selections and ND misses the playoffs) and his players generally hate him.

I would not be surprised if Mack would have about 10 TDs this year.

Maybe you should hire Charlie Weiss again

I’ve watched nearly every game he’s played at Notre Dame, and I think we’ve got a good player. He’s not going to come in and take Cook’s spot, but I think he can work himself into second on the depth chart.

He’s a big guy with decent speed and can make some catches. For every Notre Dame busy at QB they produce successful TE’s.

If his blocking gets to just average in camp I think he has a great shot at the #3.

Is Charlie Weiss a better coach than Charlie Weis? Maybe Bob Davies is available too.

Interesting take and hope that you're spot on. Hopefully, he will come in and be ready to work.

I believe Saints FO were meticulous with who they wanted w/ the limited picks they had. I choose to believe that he was a steal and based off their UDFA selections looks like they did their homework.

He's awkwardly active on saints social media for a 7th round pick

Makes me cheer for him. He's legit excited to be here and I hope it can translate to the field.

Seriously? Naming your kid after a crappy alcoholic beverage (maybe because that's what they were drinking when the kid was conceived).

A few years back there was a high school basketball player in New Orleans East named Chivas Perkins.

Is there a sports star with the first name Hennessy?
