Could learn a lot from cook
Definitely. Hopefully Cook is amenable to the teaching role and Mack picks his brain.
Hill never developed as a receiver but this guy sounds like he could.

Good pass protector from what I've read which is basically a requirement
quote:
Pass Protection – Surprisingly solid in this regard considering how often he is asked to be a receiver. Notre Dame will use him as a blocker in a lot of play-action schemes, and he does a good job of using his broad frame to swallow up defenders and at least stop their pass rush charge. Generally a good processor and will find work when no rush shows immediately.
quote:
Competitive Toughness – Not an overly physical player, but isn’t soft by any means. Has taken brutal shots and returned to the game, willing to sacrifice his body over the middle. While not a dominating blocker, has solid strength throughout his frame that he can use on occasion.

Ooooooo 7th rounder fight

The sixth round pick was atrocious

Forgot about pass pro... that could be a nice thing to have

Hill is a good blocker. Mack seems not so much.
Hill is now but didn't start that way. He was decent at best.
And it depends on who you ask with this kid. Some say he blocks decent in the run game while others call him soft. That part will get found out fairly early.
They do say he's a surprisingly good pass blocker, so good for the play action game.

No cable or WiFi, do we still have one more pick?

Not saying he’s Jimmy Graham, but he looks like a big body who could be a great mismatch in the slot or end zone.

Still have pick #244. 4 more picks until then.

QB play wasn't super consistent for Notre Dame until they switched to Ian Book in the middle of last season. Had to hurt the TE.

Yeah Brandon wimbush was horrible

Was that a good catch? I'm no expert but that looked like a pretty good catch.

Yeah, I did read that ND had really bad QB play and his numbers likely suffered from that alone.
