Just watched his highlights. Looks like he catches wirh his hands not his body. Like some of his jump balls. And he’s huge looking

He’s a 7th round pick. The vast majority of these guys will not be in the NFL for very long at all.

I don't know much about him, but read he has a good skill set with upside to grow in the NFL.

WF had him as the 9th overall TE with a round 3-5 grade

Reading some of that, sounds like a slightly better Josh Hill that can actually run the seam.
His run blocking is decent but needs work, just like Hill his first couple of season. I think we can coach him up there. Then let Johnson work his magic on his hands.
Might turn out to be a decent gem. No Graham but maybe a lesser Shockey.

Basically, the scouts who don't like Mack call him soft and not much of a blocker. He also has academic issues and a bowl game suspension as red flags. He's the ultimate flyer pick in the 7th round who could end up being a playmaker at no risk to the Saints.
