Trump famously only got like 2 newspaper endorsements while Crooked Hillary racked up somewhere around 400.

In a race versus an open socialist do you think things would change much?

Would be fascinating to see the WSJ have to grit their teeth and endorse Trump and then face the "REEEEEEEE" backlash of having leftists try to get them removed from Starbucks and try to block their Manhattan HQ.

No. It will be a full court press against Trump. They don't care that Crazy Commie Bernie would be a disaster.

You underestimate TDS amongst journalists. He’ll be lucky to get the two endorsements again. But as Coach O said after the Auburn game....

Who cares? This seems like something people stopped caring about before the Depression.

I could not have a shite less what a group of editors and glorified bloggers think.

I think witnessing the "mainstream media" endorse a full-blown communist like Bolshevik Bernie would be another quality reason to laugh at them for the partisan shills we already know they are.

It's amazing to me how a group of people have so much disdain for Trump that they are willing to turn the political landscape of this country on its ear in a bad way just to see him defeated in an election. This is the epitome of cutting off your nose to spite your face. It's really an unbelievable thing to watch.

Sanders keeps running his trap about the good old days of Soviet communism, and the Trump endorsements will write themselves.

Never understood why it's acceptable for a news source endorses anyone. "Of course we are objective....we just happen to like this person and not the other one"

Not just that. Remember, USA Today at its founding declared they would never endorse a candidate for President. They broke that promise in 2016 endorsing Hillary. Their editorial explanation was that it was vitally necessary because a Trump win would signal the end of America and the world.

I believe that most will just opt not to endorse either.

the next race will be much different. it will be a full out "press" of "trump will push for rescinding free speech if elected...and now he's got the votes to do it because of RBG's 2019 death"
