I need about 20 drawer fronts routed out to match the profile of the cabinet doors. A place here in BR has had them for over 6 weeks now and they keep giving me excuses for why they aren't done so I'm fed up with them and looking for for the OT's advice. Everywhere I've called from Lafayette to Hammond is too busy with cabinets or doesn't have a CNC router. Does anyone know of a place in south LA or MS that can handle this in a timely manner?

Got a picture of what you want done? It can be done without a cnc most of the time.

My wife is looking for a pic. The drawer fronts are flat panel and the doors are shaker panel with 2 1/4 edges IIRC. It seems like that would be tough to match without a CNC router or some special jigs.

Your best bet is to head north. Cabinet manufactures are still swamped with flood houses on top of their normal work load for the local new construction market that has shown no signs of slowing down any. Your job is small time for them right now. Either look north or be the squeaky wheel.

Wouldn't it be cheaper and faster to just order 20 shaker style drawer fronts and change them?

Having them routed out was about 1/4 the price of having new ones made and would have been a lot faster if the cabinet shops weren't so busy.

Those drawer fronts you posted are plane.
You talking about the cabinet doors? If so thats a lot of routing. Theres actually 5 pieces to the ones you have shown.

That can be done without a CNC very easy. I just finished some something like that out of oak.

Well, you have been waiting for 6 weeks so routing being a lot faster was not the case.
The construction industry is in a boom right now so to find someone to stop production on major work to route out 20 drawer fronts may be an uphill climb.
Good luck to you but I'd just buy new fronts and be done with it.
