no place Is going to want them unless they are actually processed, meaning removed from the shell.... you and your kids know this right?

Eta: well damn, looks like I was the jackass here and didn't know what I was talking about. I admit I didn't know that uncracked pecans sold well..... I'm curious what 100 lbs of pecans looks like now? Best of luck to your kids

My grandpa use to have a pecan cracker, let people go pick pecans on his land where he had a bunch of pecan trees and then charge them to crack them..

Not true at all. A lot of people by them in the shell.

Get them a cracker and let them earn their lunch money for the month of December.

There is a house on Bluff Road in Geismar that buys pecans across from Spanish Lake Primary.

Not sure of phone number.

Places that buy advertise "we buy pecans" buy them uncracked. They usually have a cracker and process them. I use to have cousins who use to pick pecans to have money to go to a local fair every year.. They use to water the pecans down because it evidently made them weigh more..

Lance's Pecan in Port Allen. It's off of LA1. Or you can drag arse to Bergerons in NR. Not sure of the going rate.

You shouldve told me, just shelled about 20 lbs by hand at my grandparents earlier this week. Wouldve saved you some had i known and for a good price, my hands were tired after a few hours of shelling. I sent my uncle about 5 lbs worth of the shells because he's an aggie and was bitching up a storm the past few months. The ones i brought back just now are for a pecan pie
