LSU took out some frustration on Purdue yesterday

After a 9-2 start to the season LSU played like some (insert Sage Ryan quote) against Texas A&M. Then they were overwhelmed by Georgia. You could tell yesterday was a game to make a statement and shake off the frustration accumulated from the last two games going in to the offseason.

It was fun to see. It felt like when LSU rocked Miami after a tough SECCG in 2005.

Felt like the 2010 cotton bowl against TAMU. Big season coming next year.

The roster deficiencies caught up to us at the end of the year. It was first evident in the Arkansas game. Yesterday's team looked rested, and as if they'd had a month of preparation by a very detail-oriented coach. It was good to finally kick some arse in a bowl again. I think this puts us on a very nice trajectory for 2023.

The word I think best describes the bowl game was hungry. They looked like a team hungry for the future they can almost feel is coming.

The 2 point conversion by Georgia to get to 50 may have still been stuck in Kelly's craw

I was at the loss to GA and the miami game that year. I'm glad we went back for the bowl game. Lots of brokenhearted miami sidewalk fans that day.

Darrel Mitchell was so clutch it was stupid.

Rarely see his name in bb threads but his last year was one of my favorite seasons from an LSU bb player. Might be my favorite LSU guard ever.

Someone had to pay for that K-State bowl travesty last year.

Unfortunately for PU, they got stuck paying.

Would have preferred drawing KSU instead so they could receive that curb stomping. They have it coming in the future.
