I really want to see the NBA go down the same path as MLS. Their terms are acceptable. Most of the NBA is anti America anyways. Would love nothing more than to see the value hit the floor.

Conveniently leaves out the part that whether visiting or living in another country, it's their house, their rules. You are to abide by their laws and norms are face consequences that can be far more severe than what we have in America.
As far as money, that never stopped athlete's from committing crimes. It's not money but personal culture
Trump had to bail out Ball for stealing sunglasses in China. During the quarantine Yahoo printed an article stating that athletes had too much time on their hands and that's why they got into trouble in that time period. Don't even get started on rappers.
The bottom line is some countries have zero tolerance for stupidity and when you live or visit there, abide by the rules or prepare for severe consequences coming your way.

Add on that the NBA subsidizes the wNBA.
