They've fricked up, no doubt. And they've even lied (thinking specifically about the "noble lie" about masking early in the pandemic), but propaganda is a much bigger problem than lying, and ampliganda that we see in social media. Our public health system is in better shape than our information ecology.

But that wasn’t a lie, that was and still is the truth about general masking, despite the bad studies they’ve pushed out to say otherwise in the past ~2 years.
Comparing deaths between locations is tough to do. How does one place classify a death? When you count anything with a positive PCR test without a certain time frame of a death (up to 60 days in some locations), you can’t trust those numbers.
Also, I do believe that at one point, perhaps it’s still the case, the two things the WHO required to count a CoviD death was a positive PCR test AND bilateral pneumonia. That’s part of the reason places like Singapore only had like 12 deaths at one point.
How broad is that here in the USA? At the time when I read about the WHO thing, I think the USA would have had half the deaths that we counted if we used the PCR and pneumonia criteria.
South Korea probably also “benefited” from being near China and having had a MERS outbreak in recent years to help with some form of prior immunity.

That is essentially 10 tests per month. You are insane if you think Zeke makes any sense. That is 2.15 tests per week. Do you suggest that Americans just drop everything and stand in line for tests? What you are talking about is pure social control.

I heard a prominent immunologist who sits on the FDA advisory panel say that all this testing is stupid. He said that was one of the biggest mistakes made from the start and people shouldn't be tested unless they feel really sick. All the testing does is alarm people with the "stats." The only stat that matters is how many are hospitalized or die.

And yet they still refuse to acknowledge those like me who were infected and tested positive for antibodies. that 61% number is total fricking liberal bullshite.
