We averaged giving up 18.5 points per game the last 4 games. We are by no means the best defense in the country, but if we played defense like this the entire year we would probably be a top 15-20 defense in the country and might have a few more wins.

23 ppg against SEC teams including a Bama game is pretty damn elite. I'll trust Kelly on whether or not he should be retained if Freeman doesn't work out, but that late stretch was really impressive. He was also clearly not a very good hire by O. 4 weeks of great doesn't undo 8 weeks of mediocre at best.
